Featured volunteer: Sam Rosario

Hello, my name is Sam Rosario and as part of my 3-month visit from the UK I decided to volunteer at A Wider Circle.

The members of staff were very welcoming and their enthusiasm and support was a major contributing factor to my desire to continue to volunteer. I enjoyed the fact that due to their grassroots nature I was able to carry out a variety of roles.

My main role was to help with the collection and storage of donated items. However, I was also able to help on-site assisting the families with the process of receiving items. I even found myself doing a bit of website troubleshooting. I had a great experience as a volunteer and would recommend it to anyone with some time on their hands and a desire to help.
