In response to the following needs:

  • Enduring cycles of poor health and poverty, correlated with an unequal exposure to empowering health and wellness information.

We offer the following programs:

Health & Wellness Workshops – From stress and anxiety management to enhanced self-esteem and an understanding of the mind-body connection, our presentations address the deeper issues affecting health and well-being. Activities include relaxation techniques, yoga, visualization and positive imagery, healthy nutrition/cooking demos, and creativity exercises. We address the whole person, and each session provides opportunities for discussion and practice.

Wellness Materials – Newsletters, table tents, audiotapes and more for people in their homes, schools and community centers. These materials address a wide range of health issues - from exercise to sleep - from the unique perspective of A Wider Circle.

Health Professionals Network – Designed to match shelters, community centers, and schools with a health professional in disciplines ranging from acupuncture and yoga to family medicine and personal training.
