In response to the following needs:
Enduring cycles of poor health and poverty, correlated with
an unequal exposure to empowering health and wellness information.
Increasing levels of stress and anxiety for adults
and children, especially prevalent among people in low-income
areas.

Health & Wellness
Workshops
From stress and anxiety management to enhanced self-esteem and
an understanding of the mind-body connection, our presentations
address
the deeper issues affecting health and well-being. Activities
include relaxation techniques, yoga, visualization and positive
imagery, healthy nutrition/cooking demos, and creativity exercises.
We address the whole person, and each session provides opportunities
for discussion and practice.
Wellness
Materials Newsletters, table tents, audiotapes and more
for people in their homes, schools and community centers. These
materials address a wide range of health issues - from
exercise to sleep - from the unique perspective of A Wider
Circle.
Health
Professionals Network Designed
to match shelters, community centers, and schools with
a health professional in disciplines ranging from acupuncture
and yoga to
family medicine
and personal
training.
